SacAnime Spring 2025 in Roseville Welcomes Rodger Parsons

RODGER PARSONS
Rodger began (1998) as the Pokémon narrator with the very first episode of the show. He even did a few characters early on. For most of his 49 year career, he has voiced commercials, industrials, documentaries, instructional, anime, and informational, other entertainment venues.

With a home studio beginning is 2002 he self-produced and recorded voice tracks. Before COVID, the New York audition scene was as much social as it was professional. Visiting casting people and agents, clients, recording studios where you sometimes could learn, sometimes could teach; it was a great journey. After Covid, except for motion capture work, it’s all from home now.

People ask why I don’t retire. My answer: I’ll stop, when it the fun stops.
